Sneakers are still trending. In fact, at this rate it seems like sneakers will be trending forever. You won’t hear any complaints from us. We love a shoe that’s as comfortable as it is fashionable, which makes sneakers kind of perfect for us. The only thing is that the sneakers the fashion crowd obsesses over aren’t right for us. That’s where slip on sneakers come in.
Dad sneakers aren’t the only option. There’s nothing easier than a slip-on sneaker, and we have plenty of favorites. You can wear them running errands, with whatever pair of jeans you have laying around, or even go super trendy for fall with a beautifully tailored suit. Slip-on sneakers are the perfect go to shoe that you can wear with jeans, long skirts, or even a suit.
And who is the king of slip on sneakers? Vince, of course. The brand consistently nails the elegant but minimal vibe in a variety of luxe neutrals and fabrics, so of course you can count on them to elevate the sneaker silhouette. If you’re a neutral girl Vince has you covered. Check out the Warren in this gorgeous tan color. ( I don’t think they are named after Elizabeth, but she would certainly be comfortable in them on the campaign trail.) The Garvey model from Vince is our go to shoe. It has a black leather upper, with edgy detailing that reminds us of our favorite leather jackets we can’t wait to wear everywhere.
Of course, Vince isn’t the only brand with great takes on this silhouette. If you feel like splurging on yourself, you can’t go wrong with these Fendi’s. They are definitely an investment but they are one of those shoes you can dress up or dress down. We are beating the cost per wearing would be well worth the price. On the other hand, Dr. Scholl’s Madi sneaker trends a little preppy thanks to the black and gray ribbon around the upper. Plus, you can’t beat the price.
