If you read these stories regularly, you know one of my favorite approaches to gift giving: beautiful versions of everyday things! I find this works especially well for men, or at least the men in my life, who don’t always think to do this themselves. Look at this Italian leather charging tray for your phone! It’s so handsome and brings elegance to any nightstand or desk. The same goes for this monogrammed leather catchall, which makes dropping your keys off a more dignified affair. Or this commute clutch, which keeps wires and tech neatly organized in a seriously stylish way.
Another failsafe strategy? Golf gear. A practice putting mat means they can get better even when the weather keeps them from getting out on the course. Personalized golf balls means they’ll always be able to find theirs (and think of you when they do).
And there is always fashion. For the younger set, try to go with something a little bit cooler.
