You know I’m a big believer that you don’t need an entirely new wardrobe every season. Sometimes one small change is all it takes to make everything you already own feel current again. And this fall, I think that change might be an animal print shoe.
And apparently, any animal is fair game…no pun intended. We’re seeing lots of leopard—which is always a win in my book because I really do think of it as a neutral. It works with black, brown, denim, camel, olive…pretty much everything.
But leopard isn’t the only animal in town. Zebra and giraffe are coming on strong, along with other animal-inspired prints that feel fresh and a little unexpected. The best part is you don’t need much. An animal-print loafer, ballet flat, pump or sneaker can take the simplest outfit and suddenly make it feel more interesting—and more fall.
