As editors at ITG, we spend a lot of time shopping online. This also means we’re very prepared when the holidays come around! Our editors put together the list of everything we’re hoping will be waiting for us under the tree. Fun cashmere pieces, candles that look as good as they smell, and jewelry worth swooning over are just a few of the things on our editor wish list.
When it comes to clothes as Christmas gifts, we tend to gravitate towards extra-luxurious but super wearable pieces, like an electric-blue super soft cable knit sweater, a leopard-print faux fur coat that will make the winter extremely stylish, or the ultimate designer sneakers from Loewe. And if you’re looking for a stocking stuffer, you can’t get much better than Jenni Kayne cashmere socks.
These days, one of our editors says she’s pretty much exclusively interested in jewelry. This is a philosophy we can get behind! It’s always hard to justify buying jewelry for yourself, so the holidays are a perfect time to sneak in some bling – and it doesn’t have to break the bank either. CompletedWorks’s sculptural, interesting jewelry has made it a hit with the fashion set. Just look at these mismatched, glamorous earrings or this platinum-plated statement ring. Paco Rabanne’s thick gold cuff is 70s meets cool girl edge. Otiumberg’s mini-crystal hoops feel like something out of the vintage Bulgari archives.
But it’s not just clothes and jewelry that we want! There are quite a few objets d’art that any stylish woman would be thrilled to wake up to on Christmas morning. Gaetano Pesce’s resin, flexible vessels are gorgeous, colorful pieces of art. Loewe’s home fragrance collection is a cult favorite, especially the completely unique Tomato Leaves scent. A minimalist, black reusable water bottle from Prada is the chicest practical gift a girl can get.
