In Los Angeles, October is the month where fall finally starts to creep in. The mornings and nights get deliciously chilly and I start reaching for my sweats again. Frank and Eileen’s fleece set is my absolute favorite pair. I wear them whenever I’m traveling, whether I’m hopping on a plane or just walking Ruby in the morning. They’re comfy, they come in a million colors, and they make me look perfectly polished.
There are five different travel sets, all named after places as enviably as the set itself. I’m wearing the Carmel set in navy in the header image. It also happens to be my favorite. I love the collared top, which I wear just as often with my favorite pair of jeans. I also have one of the tops in white. It’s like a cheat code when you’re not in the mood for a proper shirt. Plus, it comes in so many colors you can have one for every season. The newest ones are sage green, Air Force blue, chocolate brown, and evergreen.
The Greece set has the some cropped sweats as the Carmel set, but has a short sleeved top instead. I’ve been wearing this one a lot around LA because it’s a bit breezier, which means I don’t have to change out of it the minute it gets warmer out. The Malibu set has a similar vibe, with more of a funnel necked top.
The Montecito Set is especially polished because the bottom half is a skirt! Bet you’ve never seen a sweatsuit like this before. A skirt, but it’s still made out of their famous triple fleece material. That makes this the most comfortable skirt you’ve ever worn – especially when paired with the capelet-style long sleeve top.
Last but not least, there’s the Aspen set. It might look like more of a classic crewneck sweatshirt and pants, but this is anything but you’re average sweatsuit. The details like the cropped pants and neckline on the Effie capelet elevate the whole thing.
