Sometimes the easiest way to make the clothes you already own feel new again is to change your shoes. Right now, I’m loving the high-vamp flat. It’s a little more covered up than a ballet flat, a little sleeker than a loafer, and somehow that small change makes everything from jeans to trousers to a simple dress feel more current. And maybe best of all—it’s a flat. Comfortable, easy to wear and one of those little updates that can make a big difference.
I’ve been looking everywhere, and these are the high-vamp flats I think are really good.
Chocolate brown has had a major moment the past few seasons, and this fall it’s back with a vengeance. I love the richness of the color paired with the texture of suede. It’s sophisticated and a little less expected than regular black leather.

These patent-leather showstoppers from Reformation (which looks really good right now by the way), are a fun way to add a little pizzazz to your regular jeans.
