It has not been easy, but I’m pretty proud of myself for figuring out a workout routine during the pandemic. Working out is so important to staying fit, both physically and mentally, but that doesn’t mean it’s fun. You know what’s made it easier? Having workout staples I can rely on.
A great pair of sneakers is supportive enough to work out in, but still stylish enough the you can wear with a pair of jeans and your favorite sweater. These black-and-gold Asics will look good with leggings and straight leg jeans. These Air Max 270s have a beautiful rose pink color way that will carry you into spring. Plus, they have a very casual, streetwear vibe. Outdoor Voices have an off-white pair that are just begging to get dirty.
They say the hardest part is getting to the gym. These days, the hardest part is mentally getting to a place to workout. Putting on a cute, matching outfit that feels special helps kickstart that part of my brain. There are so many fun, printed leggings out there, like these camouflage ones from Old Navy. How about black and white leopard print from Outdoor Voices, or this navy, racing stripe-inspired pair from Intermix? I love this silvery snakeskin pair from Carbon 38.
You’re going to need an equally cute top to throw on. If you’re into tank tops, this fitted racer-back jersey tank is as chic as workout gear gets. Everyone should have a classic white workout tee in their closet. This pink, knotted one is pretty. Don’t forget to layer – throw on a crisp white sweatshirt or an on-trend half-zip up to stay toasty.
