We made it to President’s Day Weekend. Congratulations! For a lucky few of us, that means getting away to somewhere warm and relaxing. Or maybe just somewhere warm, with lots of fruity cocktails and a little too much fun. Either way, we’re here to help with your packing. With the new collections finally fully stocked on our favorite shopping sites like Nordstrom and Net-A-Porter, the spring and summer possibilities suddenly seem endless.
We’re thinking color (and lots of it), because nothing says vacation like the brightest blues, greens, and corals. What am I most excited about? I’m particularly obsessed with the raffia trend. The textured, beachy trend is showing up in bags of course, but also chic slip-ons that can go with everything from your swimsuit cover-up to your dresses.
Make sure your accessories game is on point. Of course you can rock your trusty old gold and silver pieces, but why not change it up? Tortoiseshell, the perfect combination of preppy and timeless, is coming back in a big way. From sunglasses to earrings, snag a new pair to update. And if you’re really feeling adventurous, puka shells are all over the runways and Instagram feeds.
Don’t forget your sunglasses. Cat-eye shapes are still sticking around, but anything will do. And just in case your suitcase is looking a little banged up, we included some of our favorite carry-ons. Happy holiday-ing.
