There’s just something about gold jewelry in the summer. After a long, sun-kissed day there’s nothing sexier than showing off your tan with glittering gold. Whether it’s a perfectly chunky gold hoop, a thick gold chain, a dainty bracelet, or a funky ring, gold accessories can dress up any outfit. Even just your favorite white t-shirt and shorts. It’s time to get glittering.
Let’s start with my favorite statement-maker: hoops. I truly believe you can never have enough. You can go XXL, J.Lo style – like this celeb-favorite pair of Samiras from Jennifer Fisher. You can go whisper-thin for some subtle shimmer, like this Argento Vivo pair and this pair in a slightly larger size. Or you can go for a huggie, that sits directly on the earlobe. I am obsessed with this chunky, starburst pavé pair from Ela Rae. Think outside of the hoop-shaped box with this long, oval pair from Jennifer Zeuner for an instant dose of minimalist, streamlined cool.
Up next: the perfect chain! Personally, I like to stack these up two or three at a time whenever I feel like I need to take my outfit to the next level. Especially when I’m rocking a monochromatic look. But if that’s too much for you, one is more than enough. This Elio necklace is my favorite piece in rotation right now – I love the different sizes of the links and the cool-girl utilitarian flavor of the biggest link. Jennifer Fisher’s double-length necklace is a great way to get the layered look in one easy piece. I’m absolutely obsessed with this rolled rope necklace, which is textured enough to feel complicated but sleek enough to be elegant.
Finally, up last, the bracelet! I have a feeling the arm party is making a comeback, especially when the pieces are as just as pretty worn on their own. This thick rope chain bracelet would look equally cool with a tank top as it would a slinky slip dress. On the daintier side, this Dannijo bracelet plays with scale in a really fun way. This chain-link bracelet is as classic as they come.
