It’s that time of the season again: our Influencers edit! I checked in with a few of my favorite age-defying tastemakers to see what they’re most excited to shop, whether it’s the perfect shorts for warmer weather or a must-have cult favorite beauty product.
And who are our Influencers this time around? Michele Koo, plastic surgeon and entrepreneur extraordinaire. Check her out at @privatepracticebydrkoo to learn more about her skincare line. Colette Shelton aka @cococozy with her sharp eye for interior design. Janet Gunn, the stylish blogger behind @janetgungratefulgardenia. Kalyn Johnson Chandler, the designer behind stationery company @effiesgarden. And last but not least Finally, photographer Amy Neunsinger@amyneunsinger my favorite photographer.

Michele Koo
Michele’s must-haves reflect her chic but comfy style with picks like low-heeled Zara sandals, lighter wash denim from AGolde for spring, a white sweater to continue lightening my wardrobe, and of course a Chanel lipstick to pull it all together. She just launched a skincare line, Dr. Koo Private Practice, and the retinol products are the easiest way to put your best face forward post-pandemic.
Colette Shelton
Colette’s picks are as varied as her design interests, starting with closet must-haves like LemLem’s beautiful v-neck dress that you can wear as a coverup or on its own, a classic Gucci tote, and a spring-y eyelet top from Veronica Beard. Plus, with al fresco dining right around the corner, her patio furniture collection is a must-have. Colette has an eye for fabulous new designers like Fe Noel, Hope for Flowers and Brother Veilles. Each one has such a distinctive style just like Colette.
- Fe Noel Nutmeg Swimsuit – The perfect Spring one piece swimsuit.
- Hope for Flowers Haute Red Rosebud Shirt – Who says red is only for the winter? I am voting for red as a fantastically vibrant Spring color. This lovely red long sleeve blouse with high neck is exactly what I want to wear on Spring evenings.
- Brother Vellies Beirut Slide in Ivory – It’s such a versatile slide, it can be worn with a dress, skirt, jeans, or even shorts.
- The Black Home Goddess – The Goddess candle from designer Neffi Walker of The Black Home is the ideal candle to help you unwind after a long day of work and cuddle up with a great book.
Janet Gunn
Janet is all about a classic piece with a trendy twist, like this perfect oversized trench from Mango to wear through April showers, these mid-length shorts from Zara, or this versatile crisp white Elaine Kim shirtdress. Master the high-low mix with an investment shoe, like these Dior slingbacks. For more of a statement, go for leopard with this Ganni coat.
Kalyn Johnson Chandler
Kalyn is just as stylish as her gorgeously designed stationery, with warm weather wardrobe necessities like Ulla Johnson dresses that make hot days more bearable and a cute Zara romper in a fun mint color. Adding in fun accessories like a hot pink Valentino studded bag and this unique crystal drop bracelet from Caroline Svedblom. Finally, she never leaves the house without a pouch from Effie’s Paper. And since we’re leaving the house again, it’s the perfect time to get yours.
Amy Neunsinger
Amy is one of the coolest women I know, and you can get a piece of her perpetually cool, California style style with picks like a great pair of vintage frames and a slightly splashy headscarf for accessorizing. Her tomboy tendencies come out with utility inspired picks like this Nili Lotan white shirt and pants. And since there’s nothing cooler than sun protection, don’t forget to slather on Raw Elements sunscreen.
