I’ve been so busy running around and traveling this week that I didn’t have a minute to photograph myself in any of my outfits. So, once again, I turned to my friend ChatGPT to do the heavy lifting.
Now, I’m not quite sure what I’m going to do with Chat. The outfits? Fabulous. The person wearing them? Well, let’s just say she looks vaguely familiar, but she’s definitely not me! But, this week has been all about finding that happy medium—outfits that feel casual, comfortable, and easy, but still look like I’ve made the transition into fall. Think great basics, lightweight layers, comfy shoes, and pieces that can easily be mixed and matched.
And isn’t that really the goal? Clothes that work hard, look good, and make getting dressed just a little easier.

One of my favorite go-to looks is a great pair of off-white jeans paired with a top in a complementary neutral shade. There’s something about mixing these soft tones that always looks effortlessly pulled together. With the weather still so warm, I’ve been using the sweater more as a layering piece—easy to throw on when it cools down. Add a great pair of loafers, and I’m good to go. Simple, comfortable, and a combination I never get tired of!

It doesn’t get much more classic than this—a great pair of jeans, a crisp shirt, and ballet flats. It’s one of those combinations that never goes out of style and always looks pulled together. And of course, I added a sweater for layering in merlot, one of my favorite colors this season. I even managed to sneak a little merlot onto the toes of my ballet flats! It’s those little details that make a simple outfit feel a bit more interesting. Easy, comfortable, and very much my kind of look!

These pants have become my go-to for just about everything! They’re incredibly comfortable, so easy to wear, and can go from casual to dressed up with a simple change of shoes or top. Here I’ve paired them with a classic cardigan and, of course, you know I had to sneak a little leopard into the mix! Sometimes it’s just that one fun detail that makes an otherwise simple outfit feel special.

And of course, I had to get my workout in! A great pair of leggings, comfy sneakers, and an easy jacket are pretty much my workout uniform. These are the pieces I reach for over and over again because they’re comfortable, functional, and still look pulled together. And let’s face it, some days the workout clothes stay on long after the workout is over!
