This March, I’m leaving winter behind. It’s time to start thinking spring, which means I’m thinking lighter and brighter when it comes to getting dressed. My trusty white jeans are getting a nautical spin, thanks to a classic striped tee and crisply tailored blazer. I’m finishing it all off with a straw bag, which feels refreshing after months of leather totes. Here’s to warmer days, springing ahead, and what I’m loving for March.
Veronica Beard is one of my favorites when it comes to tailoring, and this Miller blazer nails the fit. I love the flashy gold buttons, the flattering fit n’flare, and the signature dickey. Banana Republic’s double-breasted blazer keeps the gold buttons but has a looser fit. If you’re looking for something to replicate a borrowed from the boys look, Raey’s oversized but structured silhouettes are always on point in this wool-twill jacket.
It’s equal parts French and ship captain, and all the way necessary for every woman’s closet. Everlane’s box-cut tee has a thicker stripe, and a more casual fit. Boden has three amazing versions: long sleeve navy and white, short sleeve Breton, and a supersoft short sleeve. As usual when it comes to the classics, we can rely on J.Crew with a vintage-inspired cotton crewneck.
As alway with jeans, you just need to find the pair that fits your style flavor. Looking for high-waisted with a straight leg? Frame’s Le High also has a perfect crop for showing off your shoes. Need a little bit of flare drama? AGOLDE’s Lana jean ticks all the boxes. Boden’s skinny jeans are for all the skinny traditionalists.
This Pamela Munson tote checks off a lot of boxes: cute buckle detail, chic bamboo handle, and a great rectangular shape. Dragon Diffusion’s large woven-leather bag is a great way to stick with leather, but with a spring-y update. It’ll keep through summer and even into fall. If you really want to treat yourself, Hereu’s Ventall tote is a super-elevated way to do leather and raffia. The super-cool fan shape and knotted leather handle takes it up a notch.
