I can’t believe it’s already November. In the blink of an eye, it’ll be turkeys and tinsel as far as the eyes can see. But right now, I’m not going to get too caught up in the holidays. There’s plenty of time for that later. Instead, I’m relishing the cold temperatures in LA and dressing in the cozy fall pieces I’ve been looking forward to since August.
Puffer – I don’t know when puffers became so chic, but I can’t get enough of them. This season I’m also loving a quilted version. This olive green from Stand Studio and this navy collaboration from Barbour prove my point.
Leather Pants – Yes, they’re actually comfortable. And there are so many great ones out right now. These sustainably made ones are amazing, and I love the fit of these ones from Frame.
Cable Sweater – Oversized is the way to go, so an old favorite feels fresh again. This sustainable gray number from &Daughter is perfect. I love the added fringe on this sweater and the dramatic sleeves here. Naadam’s cabled cashmere zip number is a great update, too.
Riding Boot – I still haven’t been able to put on a heel, but riding boots are a step up from sneakers. They’re classic, they’re comfortable, and I love them again. If you feel like splurging, can’t go wrong with Gucci. This Ralph Lauren pair and these Coach boots are more affordable.
Red Lipstick – I never used to wear a red lip, but lately it helps me feel pulled together even in a t-shirt and jeans. These Chanel and YSL tubes are so pretty, and also a great gift.
Sherpa Slide – The world’s cutest slippers. There’s something about shearling that is so perfect for the moment, and you know I can’t resist a slide. Jenni Kayne’s feel really elevated, Birkenstocks are forever, and these Vince slides are my inside shoes.
Perfect Denim Shirt – Love to layer this, or even go for a full denim tuxedo look. A boyfriend-inspired silhouette works especially well, like this from Madewell. Or this one from J.Crew.
Arm Candy – At the end of the day, something you just want something shiny and pretty to look at. The bigger, the better. Gold chains are classic and easy to mix and match. Love the seize of these links, the cable shape of these, and the clean lines here.
