With spring cleaning right around the corner, I’ve had closet space on my mind.I’m trying to streamline, while I keep my wardrobe feeling fresh and flattering. So you better believe if I add anything to my cart this spring, it’s going to be worth it. From old favorites like a trusty pair of chinos in a fresh shade to new bucket hats to keep away the rays, our top 10 things will help spring you into spring.
Jacket
It’s light jacket season, people! This is not a drill. This spring, I’m reaching for a fresh take on an army jacket. Banana Republic’s olive green field jacket can be layered, goes with everything, and has interesting details like the high collar and plenty of pockets.
Perfect Chinos
It’s no secret that I love the Wicklow Italian Chino from Frank & Eileen, but this new coral color is a different change from my usual neutral shades. I’m wearing with a clean white sneaker and my favorite white t-shirt.
Easy Dress
An easy dress is comfortable, versatile, and colorful. Natalie Martin’s Fiore dress checks all the boxes, and is the kind of dress that feels like a vacation when you throw it on. Big sleeves, a flattering A-cut, and the fun orange and pink zig-zag print means I’ll be wearing this all the way through summer.
Sandals
After months of boots, I’m excited to slip back into sandals. These Valentino Roman Stud sandals are a bit of splurge, but I love the gold detailing and will wear them for years to come.
White Jeans
Paige Denim’s Laurel Canyon jeans are hitting all my denim requirements. There’s a high waist, flattering cut through the thighs, and then a fun little flare to balance it all out. They’ll look great with sweaters now, and tees later.
White Tee
La Ligne’s La Tee is a deep scoop neck with a sleeve somewhere in between a cap and a proper 3/4 length. It’s easy to layer or wear on its own. I love it.
Fun Sneakers
Nike’s sneakers are looking better than ever, with tons of fun color palettes and fresh new silhouettes to add a little excitement into your sneaker game. Right now, I’m loving these Waffle One sneakers with flashes of neon yellow.
Bag/Tote
It feels like forever since I treated myself to a new bag. I’m ready to start carrying purses again, and I’m especially taken with this pastel, striped Parcours tote for hauling around stuff – whether it’s the gym or the farmer’s market.
Bucket Hat
Janessa Leone’s straw bucket hat is chic and a little bit retro at the same time. Plus, it’s easy to pack for any fun getaways you have coming up. It’s sun protection, done stylishly.
Shirt
There’s nothing better than a crisp new shirt. This season, I’m going for a pretty sky blue COS shirt instead of my usual white to switch things up.
