The best way to beat the cold? With a really cute coat! And thanks to Quince, you don’t have to spend a ton of money to get a high-end look. Whether it’s their cashmere puffer or chic coat with a built-in scarf, find your new favorite in our affordable coats edit below.
Let’s start with the puffer I was talking about. Brunello Cucinelli’s cashmere puffer rings in at an eye-watering $8,000. Personally, even if I had the money, I would never ever spend it on a cashmere puffer. That’s insane! Luckily, Quince’s puffer coat comes in at a much more reasonable $399. Still an investment piece, but one that I can at least justify with the cost-per-wear analysis.
One of my favorite It girl coats of the past few years? Toteme’s embroidered scarf jacket, which is a great mid-weight coat. The embroidery gives it a really special feel. And, of course, there’s the real star of the piece: the built in-scarf. Just throw it over your shoulder and any outfit becomes chicer. Quince’s version has all of the same key elements. I love the tonal beige color option. The all-black is a little more formal and easy to dress up.
But it’s not just designer silhouettes, it’s also high-quality fabrics! Plenty of lines have churned out leather blazers this season. Quince’s more fitted option is a great transitional piece. It’s 100% leather and clocks in at $200! For a sleeker option, I love this leather cropped jacket with clean lines. Perfect for high-waisted pants. And for the forever cool girls out there, a motorcycle jacket will add a bit of edge to your favorite jeans .
