It’s time to embrace glamour, drama, and making a statement. I know I often say “less is more” but that’s not always true. Sometimes, more is more. Like during holiday party season! This year, I’m diving headfirst into sparkles, sequins, and shine of all kinds. From show-stopping dresses to blouses that look like liquid gold, shop our favorite pieces that will make you the best-dressed at any party you step into. Cheers to that!
Who’s ready for a new party dress? I don’t know what’s come over me this year, but I can’t stop thinking about fancy frocks. I love this ruffled v-neck dress from & Other Stories, which brings major drama and sex appeal without showing too much skin. I’m wearing this Banana Republic sequined dress in the header image, but this black sequined J.Crew number and this long-sleeved version from Goop are both great too !
If you’re feeling a little extra this holiday season, fear not. We’ve got plenty of color and flash for the maximalists. Banana Republic has gold sequin pants and a matching button-down if you want to mix and match, or wear as a set. Anthropologie’s pale pink sequined shirt is an unexpected take on holiday dressing. Farm Rio’s extra-oversized striped, colorful cardigan brings sequins into daytime attire.
It doesn’t have to all be sparkles, though! There are plenty of other festive options, like these sumptuous wide-leg velvet pants from Banana Republic. Or an airy organza black blouse that looks verrrry expensive. Anthropologie’s burgundy velvet floral top with a little bit of shine would look equally great with your favorite jeans or black trousers.
A few other favorites I feel like I have to mention: J.Crew’s gold lame tuxedo shirt, Derek Lam’s liquid gold straight-leg pants, this long silver sequined Anthropologie duster, and a showstopping ombre sequined trumpet skirt.
