Winter is coming! And winter boots might not be very glamorous, but they are very necessary. The right pair of winter boots should be able to take on any blizzard, grey slush pile, or puddle and still come out unscathed. Luckily for us, weatherproof boots are getting cuter every year. We rounded up our favorite boots that will keep your toes dry, and look good while doing it.
Tory Burch has been very, very good lately as a lot of you know (because I won’t stop talking about them). The Sleeping Bag Boot is one of my favorites this season, which reminds me of a more elegant pair of Ugg boots. The same camel color and comfy fit at a much more stylish level. The olive green tall boot also does the trick for the hardcore days. The Miller Lug hiking boot in stark black and white is what Cruella deVille would wear on a slushy snow day.
I never thought I would say this, but Sorel is making some extremely cute shoes. I was shocked! Their Out N About Puffy Zip looks like a Tory Burch boot meets an Air Jordan, and I am obsessed. This cream, black, and chocolate brown pair is downright chic. This neon orange pair is perfect for cavorting around on a snow day. And there’s a more classic white and black pair for the minimalists, too!
There are plenty of more classic, low-key options. Hunter Boots, the iconic rain company, makes a cute pair of puffy black short boots. Banana Republic continues their streak of elevated classics with their Maxine snow boot. The insulated and waterproof boot has cozy sherpa fabric with leather detailing, plus it comes in black or white depending on your favorite colors. For a more polished look, what about dark chocolate suede boots? And if you really wan to go for it, how about an all-out faux-fur boots to light up apres-ski?
