Jenni Kayne is effortlessly cool, California-inspired, and classic with just enough modern updates to feel super stylish and fresh. I’m talking about the woman and her clothing, by the way. I love that her clothes all directly deal in comfort, especially now. Below, a few of the things I just can’t stop wearing.
The only shirt I’ve been wearing for most of quarantine is an oversized button down. It’s comfy but still professional, and Jenni Kayne’s boyfriend-inspired shirt perfectly fits the bill. You can tuck it or untuck it, layer it under sweatshirts or wear on its own. The collarless shirt is great when you want to switch it up a little bit.
Since it’s cozy season, let me just fire off all of the incredible knitwear they have this season. How about a cashmere fisherman’s sweater? An oversized crewneck sweater in a chic oatmeal color? A more fitted sweater in oatmeal, if oversized isn’t your thing right now? A perfectly proportioned cardigan that Mr. Rogers would be proud of?
And of course, we can’t forget about coats. As we had into the colder months, coats are going to be our entire outfits. I love this formal cashmere overcoat that I plan on wearing with everything from sweatpants to trousers. And in the meantime, this chic quilted puffer will do the trick.
The shoe assortment is right up my alley: little to no heel, classic shapes, and modern lines. Take these shearling-lined clogs for example. They’re perfect for house shoes or running errands in, and look just as great with jeans or sweats. I love this pointy navy suede mule, which proves Gucci isn’t the only mule worth obsessing over.
The suede Moroccan slipper is a little more indoorsy, but that’s perfect because we’re all spending more times indoors lately.
