It’s Boot Season! The 30 Best Looking Pairs We Found

Put your best foot forward.

It’s Boot Season! The 30 Best Looking Pairs We Found

It took a lot of restraint to wait until October for our first boot edit, because I’ve been thinking about them since August. A good boot is the cornerstone of every fall wardrobe. Short, tall, suede, leather, heeled, flat – we did the hard work and found the best fall boots of the season.

As you can probably tell from the header image, I’m all about a tall boot this season. They’re just so versatile! It makes wearing dresses and skirts all year long much easier. And there’s just something so sexy about them! I’m wearing M.Gemi’s The Tina boot. I was drawn to it for the comfortable heel and the sleek pointed toe, which really puts an exclamation point at the bottom of any outfit. It also comes in a truly luxe snakeskin version. Plus! It’s cut pretty close to the calf, so they’ll easily fit under your pants.

A few other tall boots I’m coveting? Staud’s Wally boot is a perfect example. The knee-high length, the Western-inspired details, and most importantly the low heel more than justifies it’s best-selling status. J.Crew’s Stevie boot is a pull-on with a wider shaft. That means you can wear them up around the knees, or scrunch down lower for a more bohemian vibe.

If you’re more of an ankle boot gal, there are still plenty of options. Rag & Bone’s Joni boots has a rock and roll aura around it. I love the slightly exaggerated lines, the mid-height heel, and the slightly squared off toe. Emme Parson’s stretch boot is a showstopper, especially in a rich brown espresso shade. For a more fun accent, Madewell’s Chelsea boot comes in a cherry red. And Larroude’s dark oak crocodile embossed boot is drop dead sexy!
