Over the last few years, every fashion It Girl has been wearing Leset. What started out as simple matching sets has evolved into a full closet offering of picture perfect proportions. From t-shirts to striking outerwear, it seems like there’s nothing this brand can’t do.
Their Margo tee is one of the first pieces I heard about from Leset. It seemed like every editor and It Girl was singing the praises of this perfect basic. Now that I have it in white and black, I wholeheartedly agree with them. And for when fall finally hits, their pointelle long sleeve shirt is a perfect layering piece. If you get this pale beige-y green color, it’s striking enough to stand on it’s own, too.
Their Kyoto pieces are a real standout to me! As you can probably guess from the name, there are definitely some Japanese influences. Minimalism and modern lines meet in a way that really elevates your everyday wardrobe. I love their Kyoto carpenter pant, both in chocolate brown or a weathered navy blue. It feels like such a sophisticated take on the elastic pant trend, from the slightly barrel leg to the pocket placement to the cropped length.
And for my favorite part of fall dressing: the perfect coat or jacket. The Kyoto car coat is equally retro and modern, flaring out beautifully around the knees. It creates the perfect swingy silhouette that makes you instantly polished.
It’s not just everyday pieces. Silky black pants with an elastic waist feel dressy enough for date night or drinks with the girls, especially if you wear a flashy ballet flat or a heeled boot. And I love the luxurious, borrowed-from-the-boys feel of their Yoko oversized button down. Imagine it with the pants, piles of gold jewelry, and a slingback!
