I don’t know about you, but I have had a fun summer. Tons of guests coming to stay at the house, wine-filled dinner parties, and even a few amazing vacations. Just like students going back to school, it’s time to get back into a routine. For me, that starts with regular visits to the gym and new activewear!
And the easiest way to get me back into the gym? Buying some cute gym clothes, of course! The hardest part of going to the gym is getting dressed, so having cute clothes is key. A good place to start is with a super-flattering legging. Alala’s Barre Seamless tight in navy is one of my go-to’s, thanks to the thick compression.
Sporty & Rich (how fun is that name) makes a stretchy black pair of leggings with an extra-high waist to make your legs look even longer. Everlane’s Perform legging has an interior pocket and sweat-wicking fabric we love in either a floral print or a slate blue. When it comes to tops, I’ve been relying on these Plyo Rib Racerback tank.
You’re going to need a sweatshirt to wear over your cute new outfit, so why not make it match for an extra-sleek look? Everlane’s Jogger pant comes with an oversized Track Crewneck, or a Track Half-Zip. For more of a statement, I love the fall color palette of this Carbon38 fleece jacket.
Shoes are a great way to add some flair, especially if you stick to a more neutral palette in your clothes. You can’t go wrong with Nike. Their Air Max 270s are great all-around training shoes, and if you’re a runner the Free Run is an industry favorite for a reason. The Nike Blazer isn’t a gym shoe, but it’s a perfect shoe to wear running errands in your new athleisure.
