#Frank&Eileenpartner
Yes, it’s holiday party season. Everywhere I look there are sequins, party dresses, and statement stilettos. But the holidays aren’t only about parties. I spend more time lounging around home, watching The Holiday, and spending time with family. Am I lounging in a sequined skirt? Absolutely not. More likely, I’m in a Frank and Eileen cozy set.
If you read this blog regularly, you know how much I love Frank and Eileen. They make the kind of clothes that someone in a Christmas movie is probably wearing! In fact, their Eamon sweatpants always remind me of the pair Cameron Diaz wears when she meets Jude Law. Just enough structure, and not too clingy. Their triple fleece sets are polished enough to run errands in or just curl up and read in. Don’t be scared by the ‘triple fleece’ either. It’s more of a French Terry. Warm and soft, but never too hot. Just right.
I think when it comes to loungewear, having a collar instantly makes it feel better than a regular sweatshirt. The Patrick is a popover henley that shows just enough skin to not feel dowdy. On the flip side, the funnel neck on the Effie feels way more sophisticated than a regular crewneck. They just released some new colors, and I’m really into the rich Irish chocolate color.
The Kane sweatshirt is a sportier silhouette, but it’s nice to have that contrast. I wear it just as often with a baggy trouser and fun jewelry as I do the matching pants. It also looks great layered underneath an oversized blazer! I think the white feels a bit sharper, but the navy is a great option too. Especially if you’re running low on Tide pens.
