It seems like the prices of designer bags have gotten out of control lately. Of course, if you feel like splurging on one, no judgment! But you don’t have to spend thousands of dollars to find a stylish, chic bag to carry. Below, we picked out some of our favorite bags that won’t break the bank – so you don’t have to feel guilty about a cute new purse for spring.
In the header image, I’m wearing one of my favorite bags of all time: a white woven Dragon Diffusion bag. I love how versatile they are, the texture of the weave, and how effortlessly chic they are. This tan Sante Croce woven bag has a structural shape that’s an absolute showstopper. I also love this dark chocolate brown version.
Staud is another brand making great bags at a more affordable price. Their purses are more minimalist and 90s, with interesting shapes. Chances are, your favorite young It Girl has a few of them. But there are plenty of grown up options too, like this raffia moon tote. I also love this calf hair version, which capitalizes on the cow trend. It’s a neutral!!
Banana Republic has really stepped up their game lately with gorgeous, elevated leather goods. This snakeskin tote is big enough to throw your laptop in. Switch up your date night bag with this delicate, fun mini triangle purse. The Triunfo bag in a creamy white is a handle bag that seems a little avant-garde, especially for the brand.
Maybe you just want a super classic bag. Look no further than French cool girl brand Sezane, and their camel leather crossbody. I love the gold hardware and the timeless rectangular shape. Ralph Lauren’s shoulder bag is also camel with gold hardware, but adds some fun with the croissant-esque shape.
There are plenty of famous designer bags, but you can easily get the look for less. If you like Gucci’s famous bamboo bag, give J.McLaughlin’s Marlowe hobo a try on for size. It even has some bamboo ornamentation! For all the Bottega Veneta superfans, get the woven look for less with J. McLaughlin’s Tessare bag.
