We spend a lot of time at the In The Groove offices searching for the best of the best to bring to you guys. That means we also spend a lot of time wanting things, unfortunately. So we’re sharing it with you! Our wishlist this summer is full of designer sandals, colorful accessories, and statement pieces. Consider these summer wishlists our sartorial mood board!
I have a hard time wearing and styling skirts, but they’re so charming in the summer that I’m committed to figuring it out. This knitted flared skirt from COS is a great building block for an outfit, especially with a tank and strappy sandals. I’m usually a neutrals gal, but this pretty pink striped blouse from Mille is worth getting out of my comfort zone for.
Let’s talk accessories. Loewe’s oversized, cartoonish frames are on all the fashion It Girls, but my favorite are these frosty white cat eyes. Yes, it’s a splurge, but they’re the kind of silhouette that will always be in, so you can wear them for years. If you want color and fun, you can always count on Roxanne Assouline. Tennis necklaces are all the rage but I prefer this extra-chunky rainbow crystal version.
You know I love a woven bag in the summer, and especially if it’s a bag from the iconic Dragon Diffusion brand. I have one of their big brown bags, but this little rose pink one feels very Bottega Veneta at a much more affordable price point.
I’m always looking for comfortable summer sandals and these Gucci thongs are checking a lot of boxes. The dark brown and Gucci print mean they’ll go with everything. Don’t forget the gold hardware that gives you a little bit of glam! On the flip side, these black leather heeled flip flops from Tory Burch are a minimalist 90s dream.
