Fourth of July 2021: The Red, White, and Blue Outfits To Wear

What's red, white, and blue all over? Our curated edit!

Fourth of July 2021: The Red, White, and Blue Outfits To Wear

I just love the Fourth of July. It’s all barbeques, late-night fireworks, and plenty of hanging by the pool. After a year like this past one, it’s nice to get out of the house and celebrate just how far we’ve come. Get ready for America’s birthday this year with our edit of red, white, and blue for everything from your tabletop decor to the perfect outfit for celebrating in. Here’s to the stars and stripes!

Maxidresses are a great choice for swishing around in your backyard, or dressing up for the country club. This red and white striped Summersalt dress fits the bill, and you could even wear it as a swimsuit coverup! How about this cherry-red cotton J.Crew dress adorned with a bow? Just throw on a pair of blue and white slides to complete the look. This blue-and-white kaftan dress conjures up easy elegance and Old Hollywood glamour. All you need are these red sunglasses to hit your color requirements.

Does a dress feel like it’s not your style? Don’t worry, we have plenty of separates you can mix and match. I love AYR’s commitment to creating modern but still classic pieces, like this Staycation short. You can go for the complete set with their Deep End button down, or keep it more casual in a horizontally striped, adorably named French Fry t-shirt. These J.Crew navy and white linen pants are a beachy dream for anyone on the coasts this summer, and I’d wear with this navy tunic from Tuckernuck, these Jack Rodgers sandals, and a fun gingham headband.

Speaking of gingham, this cobalt blue-and-white tiered dress will keep you cool long after America’s birthday is over. Commes des Garcon’s Play striped t-shirts in blue or red are also timeless pieces.
