As far as staples go, most of my favorites right now are Frank and Eileen. The brand just gets us. All of the pieces have an undeniable California meets Italy vibes, conjuring up daydreams about cozy coffee mornings on the beach. The Frank and Eileen pants are especially good right now.
If you read our newsletter regularly, you’ve heard about the Wicklow pant. This season they dropped an electric Kelly green color I’ve been eyeing. But Frank and Eileen have introduced a few new pants that have me looking forward to spring and warmer days. Check out this Kinsale pant in a beachy white performance linen blend. A higher-rise and slight flare keep it super flattering, and the frayed edges add a little visual appeal. There’s a I also love it in a bolder color, like this deep navy or this light sage green.
Cargo pants are one of the biggest trends of the season, and Frank & Eileen’s version feels a little more grown-up than a lot of the options out there. Like the fan favorite Wicklow, it’s fabricated in their signature chino. The washed black color is a stand-out for me, which feels a little bit softer. There’s an army green and a chalky white.
The Jameson pant introduces a sportier element: a cuffed leg! It feels like a more polished jogger, but you don’t have to sacrifice any comfort. The linen and cotton blend means you won’t be sweating through them, either. I like the classic light khaki color, but the powder blue and sage brighten things up.
Finally, it wouldn’t be a Frank and Eileen edit without some new shirts. The Eileen shirt is my favorite for the relaxed, slightly oversize fit. And since there’s a more relaxed fit, I like to play it up with color. This bright pink, this really pale ice blue, and the classic white work for just about any occasion.
