When you think of Frank and Eileen, you probably think of the cult-status white shirts. And while yes, it’s true that they make probably my favorite white shirt of all time, they do a lot more than that. Their most recent Frank and Eileen spring and summer offerings look so good I’m stocking up in all areas.
The triple fleece fabric is one of my favorites, and their new cropped double-breasted trench coat is the perfect spring jacket. I can easily layer either shirts or sweaters underneath right now, and will use it through summers on chilly nights. I’m wearing the navy version in the header, and this pale pink shade which goes perfectly with all the spring roses in bloom right now.
For years, I’ve been spreading the word about Frank and Eileen’s Wicklow chino pant. It’s truly one of the pieces in my ultimate capsule wardrobe, and in the summer I’m always in the white version. But they have more than just the Wicklow! The utilitarian details on the Jameson in an olive green are the perfect Italy meets California vibe. I love the wide leg sailor-esque cut of the Wexford in a crisp white or a more subtle cement.
I said I wasn’t going to talk about their white shirts, which is technically true! But I am going to talk about their shirts, and all of the beautiful colors I’m reaching for right now instead of the white. Florals for spring? Groundbreaking, I know, but there’s something about this tiny floral print I can’t get enough of. A wide white and blue stripe is perfectly transitional for spring into summer. And this lightweight linen floral shirt will be worn all summer long.
