The temperatures are dropping, the days are getting shorter, and I’m finally starting to crave soup. It’s cozy season, and I’m reaching for Frank & Eileen’s capelet, which looks so nice even my daughters wanted to know where I got them. But of course, you know they have a lot more than that. Perfect white button-downs, classic chinos, and so much more that will make this fall your best dressed yet.
Cozy is the name of the game, and Frank & Eileen have you covered with their travel sets. Which yes, I wear when I’m traveling but I also wear a lot when I’m traveling between my kitchen and my sofa. These are the ultimate leisure sets, and I feel like the monochromatic treatment really elevates them.
Their Malibu set is really great for right now because the triple fleece fabric and short, drape-y sleeve on the top are super comfy but there’s still enough airflow to keep you from overheating. If you’re in LA, this is the perfect fall morning top when it’s chilly before the sun comes out. I love it in this hunter green that always reminds me of Ralph Lauren and vintage Jaguars, as well as a classic nautical navy. The Tokyo travel set gives you the same level of comfort and style, but swaps out the drape-y sleeve for a warmer long sleeve. One of my favorite things about this style is how they have the perfect amount of swing – it never feels too clingy!
My most-worn pieces during the transitional period in LA are always chambray, and this denim shacket has been my go-to during morning walks with Ruby. I also love the hoodie version of the triple fleece series. On the classic Frank and Eileen side of things, when I’m not lounging around in comfy clothes, a fresh white button-down shirt feels like a good way to kick off fall. I love the oversized Shirley in poplin, but the slimmer cut Joedy is a great one too.
