It seems like wedding season never ends! I know I still have three weddings left, and I have no idea what I’m wearing to any of them. Or at least I didn’t know until I put together this story. Below, we found the best dresses for any al fresco or garden party celebrations you have this summer.
Florals? For a garden wedding? It might not be groundbreaking, but it will look fantastic. In the header image, I’m wearing this La Ligne blue and yellow number. I love the elegant slouch of the sleeves, the fun color combination, and the swishy skirt that will twirl perfectly on a dance floor. Farm Rio is one of my favorite brands when I’m looking for a floral or botanical print, and you’ll wear this tiered peachy pink number long after you drink the last glass of champagne.
If you’re looking for something with a little more coverage, this long-sleeved silk shirtdress from Karen Millan is an absolute showstopper. Abstract, dramatic, and totally wonderful. I also love this incredibly delicate, pleated dress with built-in jewelry on the collar. Frances Valentine’s pink-and-white wrap shirtdress is dotted with florals on a retro silhouette.
Maybe you want something a little less on the nose. You can still make a huge impact with a gorgeous, punchy color. Like this cowl-neck red hot dress from Mango, which skims over the body in a super flattering way. I also love this origami sheath dress from Frances Valentine in a pretty peony pink. The folded flowers add texture, like wearable art! Powder blue is having a moment this season, and you can dip your toe into the trend with this beautiful textured sheath dress from Anthropologie.
