You know I love a good white jean. In the summer, it’s practically the only thing I wear. But I’ve started breaking them out in the winter, too. White jeans can be refreshing, crisp, and cool for long after Labor Day. So, our get the look today is all about the perfect winter white outfit. When paired with an extra-comfy sweaty, a sharp blazer in a seasonal tweed, and chic suede boots, white jeans feel as far away from hot, sweaty summer as you can get.
Let’s start with the white jeans. Everlane’s cheeky straight jean is a bestseller for a reason, and that reason is they make your butt look good. AGolde’s white jeans are still 90s inspired, but a little bit slouchier. I love the high-rise on these Citizens of Humanity jeans, which makes it easy to tuck if you feel like it. Finally, this pair of corduroy pants is a fun seasonal twist.
The next part? Layering up with a cute hoodie. This season, with such an emphasis on comfy cozy, I’m seeing a lot of cashmere hoodies. I can’t get enough of them. Look at this beautiful white one from Club Monaco. Naadam also has a great one that comes in lots of colors. But if you want something a little less luxe, we have plenty of options. How about a lightweight hoodie? Something a little more sporty? A thermal inspired by the weather?
On to the next step: a blazer. After all those neutrals, the contrast of the sharp silhouette and pattern really makes this outfit. J.Crew’s boyfriend-inspired blazer in plaid is spot-on. Mango’s oversized and textured blazer will work with just about any outfit you already have in your closet. This Paige blazer is a little more cropped and fitted, if that’s more your speed.
Finally, the shoes! Something tan keeps it tonal, and suede adds texture. Here are a few of my favorite pairs: these Madewell Chelsea boots, these Margaux boots, and these J.Crew boots for good measure.
