If you read newsletters or fashion magazines, you’ve heard of the High Sport kick flare pant. It’s over 800 dollars – and editors swear it’s worth every penny. But if you, like me, can’t quite get your head around that much money for a pair of pants, have no fear. We found the best dupes for this season’s hottest silhouette.
There’s not going to be a ton of difference between these options, and that’s the point! The kick flare is not a new silhouette. In fact, it’s been around since the 60s when a more modern woman started wearing pants on the go. The point of this article is to find the right pair, for you!
Personally, of all the ones I’ve tried, my favorite is the Spanx Perfect Fit pant. It shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone that Spanx can make a material that is extremely comfortable and also flattering, but I’ve become a full fledged fanatic about them. The waistband is smooth and they make your booty look good!
When it comes to prices, you can’t be Old Navy or the Gap. Both of their pants will run you less than 30 dollars, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by Old Navy’s pair especially. On the more expensive side of things (although still way cheaper than almost 900 dollars), you have reliably great brands like ATM Collection’s Modal Rib flare and Theory’s thicker, scuba material cropped flare.
One of the things editors love about the High Sport pant are the highly saturated shades of colors you can stock up on. The J.Crew Delaney sweater pant comes in the classic black, but there’s also a cherry red, Pepto pink, and navy to choose from.
Finally, if you’re feeling spendy, here’s the real deal: the High Sport kick flare pant. Beware, they sell out really fast!
