The only thing worse than a heat wave? A hot flash. But we’ve put together a survival guide to help you feel and look your best, no matter how hot you feel. From breathable pajamas to high-tech skincare, shop our menopause registry now.
My number one hot flash survival tip? Make sure you’re always carrying. A portable fan, that is. My favorite is this handy dandy pink fan that folds up quite nicely and charges with a USB. This green one is a bit bigger, but more powerful, too. And it’s still small enough to toss into your famous straw tote!
You’re not safe from hot flashes even in the comfort of your temperature controlled bedroom, In order to make your bedroom the oasis it should be, we’re going to cool things down. Let’s start with your sleepwear. We want cotton, we want roomy, we want comfy. Like this Jacaranda Living nightgown or this pretty lavender printed Heidi Carey set.
A silk sleep mask and pillowcase is a two-for-one. The silk is smooth and cool, but it also makes your bedroom instantly feel more glamorous. And just in case you want to turn up the heat in your bedroom (wink wink nudge nudge), have some fun with Aureum’s vibrating wand and warming lube.
The other half to surviving summer? Making sure you feel your best. And that’s true even when you’re not going through the change. The right skincare makes a huge difference for me, and one of my absolute favorites is U Beauty’s Neck + Decollete Sculpt serum. Sometimes I still feel bad about my neck, but it’s a lot less ever since I started using it.
Finally, Tom Ford’s Fucking Fabulous candle. Because sometimes you just need the reminder. And because you are.
