How To Wear Leather Separates This Fall

This season, get into leather.

How To Wear Leather Separates This Fall

Leather is a statement, there’s no denying it. A leather piece immediately feels luxe and expensive, not to mention sexy. Of course, we all have our favorite pair of leather boots or the black leather biking jacket we reach for to add a little bit of edge.  But this season there seems to be more leather on the runways, in unexpected ways. And just to be clear, there are tons of great faux options out there. We just didn’t curate any because, to be honest, the synthetic fabric makes us sweat.

Let’s start with leather pants. The ultimate cool kid piece, a pair of leather pants stands out among the sea of blue jeans and plaid trousers this season. And the silhouettes range just as much as they do with your favorite denim. If you want a standard, straightforward pair of black skinnies then GRLFRND has the right pair for you. We would style with our favorite ankle booties and a cashmere sweater for maximum coziness. Our favorite fast-fashion label Mango doesn’t disappoint either, with an equally stylish pair of straight-leg trousers at half the price. If you’re looking fo something a little more avant-garde, then cult favorite designer REMAIN Birger Christensen has an amazing wide-leg cropped pants. We would wear with a white blouse and tons of jewelry for our next night out.

Where leather pants are cool and edgy, skirts add an undoubtedly sophisticated air to your ensemble. Ganni’s buttery tan leather skirt with asymmetrical details and buttons is an updated version of one of the favorite silhouettes from the 80s. Pair with slouchy over the knee boots and an oversized sweater, preferably turtleneck. Theory’s oxblood skirt is the epitome of chic. Dress it up with a blazer and heels, or down with a cozy sweatshirt.
