Jenni Kayne has a casual, Californian cool that’s more than just a brand – it’s a lifestyle. Her elevated basics and trendy-but-still-classic silhouettes make living everyday life stylishly very easy. Think sophisticated neutral color palettes and plenty of textures! I picked out and styled some of my very favorite pieces that I’m wearing now, later in the winter, and again next year.
Sweaters are one of the cornerstones of the Jenni Kayne brand, thanks to their everyday wearability that still feels special. The Everyday Sweater is the perfect example of this. You can wear it by itself, layer it, or tuck it in. I love the details at the neck, sleeve, and hem. It comes in six colors, but navy and gray are two personal favorites. The Cashmere Fisherman sweater is a favorite, with subtle ribbing that adds visual interest. It comes in nine colors, but I’ve been wearing black, navy, and oatmeal. The Cashmere Cocoon cardigan is slightly oversized, and I love slipping into it with my favorite white t-shirt and jeans when I’m hanging around the house.
The Layering Turtleneck and Ankle Crop jean are the best kind of uniform. Easy to modify, flattering, and totally classic. I’ll throw a blazer on with lug sole boots, and I can be out the door in ten minutes.
Their shoes are just as versatile. Think about their iconic mule design! The pointed toe feels fancy enough that you can dress it up or down, especially in a sleek oiled black leather or fun pony hair fabric. The shearling is a great way to step up your slipper game this winter, or go for the Moroccan slipper for an even fluffier spin.
Finally, because it’s cozy season, why not curl up on your sofa with a cashmere throw and light their signature Cedar Glass candle? It’s a warm, seasonal scent that recalls roaring fireplaces. Plus, it was one of Oprah’s favorite things!
