We’ve officially entered the dog days of summer! While I’m soaking up every last minute of sunshine, I’m also looking ahead to fall and my transitional wardrobe. That’s why I love this outfit so much! The all-white look is totally wearable now for hot days, but all you have to do is sling on a black biker leather jacket for some edge and voila – you’re reading for a pumpkin spice latte!
The pants that started the trend in the fashion crowd, High Sport’s stretchy, celeb-favorite pair are worthy of the hype. They have the tailoring of the trouser with the comfort of a legging, making it especially great for upcoming fall and winter dressing. The pants are also expensive – and not exactly in my budget right now. Although I have it on good authority that if you do splurge, it’s truly worth it.
In my quest for finding a suitable pant that won’t break the bank, I turned first and foremost to Spanx. Their Perfect Flare pant is almost a perfect dupe, and there’s a navy version I love too. I love the so much they’ve become my go-to travel pant right now, but in the fall I plan on wearing them with a slouchy turtleneck and a black heeled bootie. Frame Denim’s Jetset collection looks like denim, but it’s actually a stretchy dupe too!
There are a few other higher-profile brands doing their own spin on the silhouette instead of a picture perfect copy. A.L.C’s Brooklyn pant is a slightly bigger flare coming out from the knee, for all the women out there who like a wider leg. Anthony Thomas Melillo makes my favorite t-shirt in the world, so it would make sense they can master another elevated basic with their black flare pant.
