Leopard never goes out of style, but this year it seems like everyone is taking a walk on the wild side. And I, for one, am thrilled. Leopard can be anything you want to be: glamorous, elegant, sexy, refined. Shop our edit of the best leopard accessories and clothes for the season.
Personally, my favorite leopard pieces tend to have a larger scale of the print. Look at this gorgeous Sezane cropped jacket! The Mango one is a little bit longer for more coverage, if you don’t love the top. The shine of the jacquard gives it a certain retro appeal, but it works just as well with jeans as a full skirt. This & Other Stories blouse, with a more abstract print, or this Mango blouse both bring the drama with a tie-neck and big sleeves.
Even your regular uniform pieces feel more special in the print, like this cotton t-shirt with your favorite weekend jeans or these straight-cut jeans to wear with your favorite white t-shirt. In fact, I really classic and clean-cut silhouettes are the way to go. Just look at how wearable this long sleeve top or this slip skirt are! This crewneck sweater and this cardigan are other easy to wear and style options.
If you’re not ready to commit to a full leopard look, the print is just as effective if you drop it into an outfit with accessories. I’m eyeing these calf-hair slingback pumps from J.Crew for the perfect amount of va-va-voom. For a more serious shoe, these heeled loafers have a studiousness to them. Love the Alaia criss-cross ballet flats but hate the $1k price tag? Snag these J.Crew ones instead. I also have been eyeing their calf-hair top handle bag and the skinny belt.
