At the end of the day, the last thing anyone is worried about is looking your best before you get into bed. But there’s something so wonderfully indulgent about slipping into a pair of super comfy, but still elegant sleepwear. Especially if it’s a pair of PJs that breathe to get you through hot summer nights, whether it’s because of a heat wave or because of a hot flash.
PrintFresh uses colorful, fun patterns that remind me of globetrotting and sightseeing. This Lemon Zest nightgown takes me to the hills of Capri and Positano in Italy, this pink-and-green lime print feels fresh out of West Palm Beach, and the prowling leopards on this Bagheera set transports me to the jungle.
Let’s move on to some showstoppers, shall we? Sleeper is a fashion favorite these days, thanks to their seriously glam feathered pajama sets that can just as easily be worn on the street as in the sheets. The blue-and-pink version in our header image isn’t available right now, but you can get this pink-on-pink, this pink with white feathers, or (my personal favorite) this all-black version. It lets you live out your Old Hollywood fantasy.
They also have more low-key styles, if you’re more of an oversized and slouchy pjs person. This set comes in pink for a fun take on the borrowed from the boys look. Get a similar vintage-inspired vibe from this J.Crew set that feels fresh with white fabric and blue piping. I love the sharp collar detail on this Lauren Ralph Lauren top, for a perfectly polished take on sleepwear.
Finally, on to the underdog: the sleep shirt! A cotton poplin shirt is my favorite thing to wear out of bed, so why not for bed? This sleeping shirt even comes with a monogrammed pocket. J.Crew’s nightgown goes all the way down to the ground, if you’re looking for a little extra length.
