ME + EM is a brand I’ve been drawn to a lot this year. These are grown up clothes for the grown modern woman. We’re talking flattering silhouettes, beautiful fabrics, and clothes that are meant to be worn in your everyday life. From the chicest Canadian tuxedo to swishy floral day dresses, you’re going to find something you love.
What drew me to the brand at first was some of their more ladylike pieces that still feel wearable on a day to day basis. This black cotton sateen shirt dress feels fancy, but you can wear it just as easily with white sneakers as your favorite kitten heels. The same goes for this jersey swing dress, which feels like a super cozy big t-shirt. This pink-and-red in a beachy Bali-inspired print is on my list for the next beach wedding I’m invited to.
There are plenty of more casual, everyday pieces to wear too. These navy cargos are my new favorite running around pants, especially when paired with a colorful shirt. A sleeveless cotton knit vest can be layered over long sleeve tees now and worn on its own later. A fitted v-neck tee shirt will tuck neatly into your favorite high-waisted pants. My go-to jacket for spring is something a little more fitted after the bulk of winter, and this update on a blazer fits the bill.
There are plenty of smaller accessories that feel just as thoughtful, like this fabulous gold belt. It’ll be especially fresh through spring and summer. I’m imagining it wrapped around a breezy shirtdress on vacation. These brown leather t-bar sandals are screaming for a long day of sightseeing, too. I love the resin handle detail on this leather crossbody bag, giving you two ways to wear a particularly elegant bag.
