One of the best things about founding In The Groove is the opportunity it’s given me to work with people I admire. We’ve done custom reading glasses with CADDIS, cashmere sweaters with Lingua Franca, and a colorful kimono with Astouri. Our latest collab, like those, gives you our take on an absolute essential in our wardrobe. We teamed up with Clare V to design your new favorite button-down shirt.
When we wanted to create a limited-edition capsule collection, we thought about what we wanted. Something wearable and chic, but with a little more personality and fun than your average basic. Who else could it be but Clare V.? We are so proud of this collection. It represents everything we love about Clare V and our own attitudes towards fashion. It’s positive, it’s timeless, and it feels special. So without further ado: the ITG x Clare V capsule collection.
The Suzie shirt comes in two different colors, with different details but the same great fit. As you probably know, we’re passionate about the button down shirt and its many iterations. When we started working on these, we wanted pieces that effortlessly fit in and elevated your everyday uniform. Of course, our Suzie is the perfect classic white shirt. The green “ooh la la” embroidery is a fun detail that gives it a special touch. I also love the embroidery on the cuffs. It’ll put an extra pep in your style step.
The blue-and-white stripe version of the Suzie shirt gives the classic stripe a modern touch with cheerful oui embroidery subtly placed under near the pointed tip of the collar. The bright red color makes sure it still stands out. The shirt is roomy enough to be comfortable, but still slim enough to masterfully tuck into a pair of jeans or trousers.
