Our summer uniform are the things we’re reaching for again and again. Something happens when the temperatures start regularly hitting the 80s. All of a sudden, it becomes harder to think about fashion when it’s that hot out. You want to be able to reach for the shirt, dress, or skirt that you already know you love and won’t sweat through. Some of them might be essentials, but it’s also about pieces that are in the sweet spot of trendy and classic.
For us, that means a lot of neutral and utilitarian inspired pieces in classic shapes, with added pops of color. Of course we have a white button down.But this season, try pairing it with a raffia slide to capitalize on the natural materials trend. Switch it up a little bit with a linen option in a buttery yellow instead of the standard white. Or this gorgeous, vivid print from J.Crew that would look perfect with your favorite pair of white jeans.
