The only thing I love more than new clothes? New clothes that I feel like I got a deal on. The founders of Quince made their careers working in luxury brands, and brought that ethos and experience to each and every one of their products. The direct-to-consumer brand has created some of my favorite pieces recently, like cotton sweaters, linen pants, and cashmere that look like dupes of better-known designer pieces.
The first thing I heard about Quince was that they made fabulous cashmere sweaters. And honestly? They live up to the hype! You can’t get better than $50 cashmere crewnecks, especially in a lavender purple or a barely-there pink.
We all love Jenni Kayne’s sweaters, but I can’t shell out that much for multiple sweaters. You can get the look of her cotton sweaters for a little less with Quince’s cotton sweater. I love the ribbed detailing and love the navy and white colors. I love things a little bit big so I’ll be wearing the oversized boyfriend’s version all summer long. It also comes in a pale pink and a beige. A cute little fit and flare dress made out of Tencel is going to be easy to throw in a suitcase or duffel. You can keep it neutral in black or fiery in red.
But they do so much more than sweaters! I’m especially tickled by how great their dress selection is, because I am living in dresses this summer. This bright orange tiered cotton dress is light and flows, and a super statement color. A linen button down shirt dress is an easy go-to for whatever your day holds. On the sexier side, get slinky in one of their silk slip dresses. The navy dress is my favorite, but the black could be your summer’s LBD. And the best part? It’s 100% washable!
