Spring is coming, and with it comes sunshine, fresh flowers, and a few holidays worth dressing up for. Whether you’re celebrating Passover, Easter, or just going out for a nice brunch, we rounded up our favorite pieces for the spring dress edit to wear all season long.
Bajanan’s puffy sleeved pink dress (the one I’m wearing in the header image) is a perfect place to kick off our dress hunt. Miranda Priestley said it best, “Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.” Florals might not be the most original print for spring, but it does feel fresh after a long, cold winter. ME + EM is one of my favorite brands right now, and their take on florals doesn’t disappoint. There’s something very refined and almost English about their Mystic Floral dress. I love the high neck, fluttery cap sleeve, and overall sleek lines. It’s a feminine floral, but it’s not flouncy. That’s a hard balance to strike!
And there are plenty of other prints we love, too. I’ve always had a thing for toile, and this blue-and-white midi dress from Cinq A Sept feels fun instead of stuffy. Farm Rio’s Ocean Tapestry dress is more of a paisley than a true floral, but I love how the sleeve detail and the flattering cinched waist.
I watched Palm Royale the other day, and was so inspired by all of the punchy, almost neon colors. Especially when paired with a ladylike silhouette, like this ME + EM midi dress in a punchy coral. The belt and cap sleeve give it an elegant feel. For a more bohemian take on color, Brochu Walker’s magenta tiered dress looks lovely tied at the waist with a belt. Finally, with summer looming, this crisp white linen dress from Gap will look really, really good with your next tan.
