There are a few pairs of really good looking sandals that are worth swooping up now to wear the rest of the summer. Tory Burch’s sporty Kira sandal looks a lot like Chanel’s Dad sandals, but they’re way more comfortable and a fraction of the price. I love the metallic gold too! You can always count on Vince for elevated, modern classics – like these minimal brown leather sandals with a gold buckle. For more of an investment piece, Manolo Blahnik’s shockingly down to earth leather thong sandals are infinitely wearable. The criss cross straps make it more interesting than the average shoe, but you don’t have to sacrifice any comfort.
It’s also a great time to snap up a more transitional shoe, that you’ll wear a little bit longer. A pair of gold leather ballerina flats from Prada is a more maximalist update on the ballerina flat craze. Miu Miu, Prada’s girlier little sister, takes a crack at Chanel’s signature shoe with a block heel slingback with rattan and patent leather.
I can’t imagine a shoe I want more, or would wear more, than these absolutely show stopping leopard Prada slingbacks. The silhouette combines so many of the It trends of the last few year (slingback, girlish T-strap, sculptural low heel) in a way that feels both fashion forward and totally timeless. Leopard feels like it’s having a bigger moment than usual overall, like in these Aquazurra bow pumps or these Saint Laurent slingback kitten heels.
