As hard as I try to work new pieces and outfits into my style, there’s always more or less a uniform I can fall back into. Think of it as a blank canvas for accessories! Accessories are an important toolbox to use, and we’ve picked out 10 spring accessories ones to make sure you have all your bases covered. From watches to sparkly things, ladylike belts to the perfect tote, check them out now.
Gold Hoops: These Mejuri 14k yellow gold earrings are the Goldilocks of hoops: not too big, and not too small. The perfect size for everyday, and they won’t bug you if you fall asleep in them!
Belt: A good designer belt might seem splurge-y, but you can get the cost per wear down very low. My favorite is this brown Valentino belt with gold hardware. It’ll last you a lifetime and it will never go out of style.
Scarf: This vintage accessory scarf from Echo is pretty, but has a point of view. Wear it tied around your neck, around the handle of your favorite bag, or around your head like Grace Kelly.
Classic Tote: I love this DeMellier tote’s sophisticated shape and warm chestnut brown color. It looks way more expensive than it is, and it’ll go with everything!
Travel Wrap: Mersea’s classic wrap was designed for traveling, but it works just as well as a fashion statement. It comes in over 10 colors, with tons of neutral shades and also some fun pops of color too! The white and navy blue shades are two favorites.
Sunglasses: For sunglasses, I like a pretty classic shape with one fun detail. These chunky, cat-eye shades from Loewe are a modern update on the silhouette that have that special something.
Sandal: In the summer, I live in a comfortable slip-on sandal. M.Gemi’s European-leather sandals give me the look of the Hermes ones, but at a much friendlier price point. They work with white jeans, sundresses, and swimsuit coverups.
Straw Bag: A woven raffia tote does the heavy lifting for you all season long, whether you’re traveling, bringing your favorite book to the beach, or shopping for spring produce at the farmer’s market. This Jenni Kayne version is a classic.
Tennis Necklace: If you have a real tennis necklace, then wear it as often as possible!! But if you don’t want to splurge, you can still get the look for less. I love this Bauble Bar tennis necklace which gives off just enough sparkle.
Watch: There are many watches to choose from, but I keep picking my Hermes Cape Cod watch over and over again. I love the leather band and the pearly white face.
