If ever there was a time to get as cozy as possible, it’s the next few months. It’s time to snuggle up in blankets, put on matching comfy sets, and slip into some stylish slippers. But, after the year we’ve had, my comfy cozy things are looking a little worse for wear. It’s time to upgrade, which is what the Cozy Gift Guide is all about.
First up: cozy clothes. A monochromatic sweatsuit is a great way to instantly make you feel a little more dressed, even though you’re just in sweats. But if you make it a cashmere monochromatic sweatsuit? That’s the black tie of loungewear, baby. This waffle set is a little less fancy, but still feels incredible. Let’s go for full on pajamas. This crisp menswear-inspired set is the epitome of effortlessly chic. These pink retro-y ones from J.Crew are fantastic, too.
Your feet deserve some love, too! Slip into a new pair of sherpa-inspired slippers, like these from Aqua. These red velvet and shearling slides from Birdies are both Santa-inspired and seriously stylish. Love the femme bow on these Margaux slippers. Full-on knit sock/booties are the perfect house shoe.
I’m going to be logging a lot of time on the sofa, so it’s time for a new throw. I love this Jenni Kayne one, this trendy chunky knit blanket. Also, since it’s the holidays, don’t be afraid to go for it. This gray and white Pendleton blanket will look good for years to come. Finally, light a candle.
On the rare occasion that I’m leaving the house, I want to stay warm. So I’m making like Lenny Kravitz and getting an enormous scarf. The bigger, the better. Like this chunky knit blanket from Cuyana worn as a scarf. Or this hot pink scarf. Or this neutral-y plaid scarf.
