Certain things never go out of style like the perfect pair of black slingbacks or a super chic bag that pulls everything together. They can be pricey, but it helps to think of these investment pieces in terms of cost per wear. You can wear them so often, and with so much, over such a long period of time! It really is a good investment. Below, are my favorite investment pieces from Nordstrom.
A bag is an easy way to bring an instant refresh to your wardrobe. You can’t go wrong with a small, ladylike bag. I’ve been swinging this white leather quilted YSL bag. It’s put an extra pep in my step! Loewe’s Puzzle bag is already a must-have for the fashion crowd. I love the intricate, geometric shape and how interesting it makes a black bag feel. And of course, when in doubt, a Valentino Rockstud bag will do the trick.
In the header image, I’m wearing these Gianvito Rossi slingback. They feel equally modern and classic, and all my outfits feels extra fresh when I put them on. I’m also drawn to these Prada heels. They’re femme and retro but for a contemporary woman. The Prada logo never goes out of style. These Gucci slingbacks with a thick heel mean you don’t have to compromise on comfort for style.
You can forget abut a belt a lot, but ultimately a clean black belt can pull an entire look together! Especially if you’re trying to look a bit more polished. Valentino’s logo belt brings a bit of bling. It’s just as good in brown too! Saint Laurent’s croc embossed belt adds a bit of texture, and the oval buckle is so pretty it feels like jewelry.
Knowing you have a black blazer you can always rely on is a key part of any stylish woman’s wardrobe. I’m going for a classic fit, not too skinny or not too big, and Veronica Beard always delivers. The double breasted is great too! I also love the gold hardware on this Smythe blazer.
