Nordstrom is one of my absolute favorite stores – they truly have it all, from clothing to beauty to home. There’s so much great stuff there that sometimes it can even be a little overwhelming. Never fear! I worked with Nordstrom to present an edit of pieces that feel perfectly In The Groove.
With winter and the holidays coming up soon, it’s time to switch out your white denim and t-shirts for something a little bit cozier. The only better than hanging out in a sweatsuit from the comfort of your couch? When the sweatsuit makes you feel really stylish. Going monochrome is an easy way to make an outfit feel more expensive, and Vero Moda’s vanilla-colored sweatpants and hoodie are just luxe enough to make you feel put-together in sweats instead of sloppy. Especially when you layer this cream colored-leopard print cardigan over it. Finish off your outfit with a pair of pink-and-tan sneakers and a white cashmere beanie.
When it comes to beauty, I’m all about the “less is more”. Instead of piling on more and more products, I rely on a few multi-tasking superstars to enhance instead of detract. I’ve also made the move towards clean beauty. It might be an extra step, but it also led me to brands like Ilia and Westman Atelier. And the fact that Nordstrom has so many cutting edge beauty brands also makes it a lot easier to shop green. Ilia’s Volumizing Mascara is an Allure Best of Beauty pick, and it will give you full, long lashes like you won’t believe. It’s not just my favorite clean mascara, it’s my favorite mascara – full-stop. Gucci Westman’s makeup line Westman Atelier is a cult favorite with movie stars ( like Gwyneth Paltrow!) and makeup artists alike, so it’s no wonder their Blush Stick is a creamy, dewey dream. The flush of color doesn’t dry skin out, and the color is buildable.
