There’s nothing better than the perfect white t-shirt. This year, after spending so much time in t-shirts, I went through my closet. Out went the dingy, hole-y shirts and in came new, fresh ones. It’s amazing how much of a difference it makes when it comes to getting dressed. So we put together the perfect t-shirt edit! All you need to do is shop it.
My absolute obsession? These ATM by Anthony Thomas Melillo t-shirts. And look, I know they’re on the pricey side, but if you can swing it they are worth it. They feel amazing, lay exactly the way I want them to, and just feel so, so nice. I have one in black and white, so I can wear with any bottoms. A step down from ATM but still on the splurge-y side is Jenni Kayne’s Cotton Basic White Tee. Like all of her pieces, it’s low-key but elevated.
On the more affordable side, Everlane makes the most reliable t-shirts in the game. For summer when it’s hot and sticky, I like a looser tee. It’s nice to get a little air flow in 90 degree heat! Their Air Scoop Tee gives you just that, plus I love the length on the sleeve. If you want something a little more fitted, than J.Crew’s slim fit shirt fits the bill – and it’s the same affordable price point!
Maybe you want a little something extra. We got that too! Wilt’s Polo tee gives you the shape of a polo but the comfort of a tee, making it perfect for dressing up jeans or shorts. RAILS makes a puff sleeve shirt with a sweet eyelet ruffle. J.Crew’s puff sleeve is a little more subtle, but no less stylish.
