When I say Frank & Eileen, what do you think of? Usually it’s their cult-favorite shirts, which come in tons of colors and sizes and always look amazing. Or maybe it’s their super-comfortable Wicklow pant. But recently, I’ve been thinking of them as my favorite travel outfit. Their matching sets make you look super polished, and the pieces work just as well separately. It’s the kind of thing that just makes you feel good, whether you’re at the airport or just having a night in on the couch.
I’m wearing the Greece set in the header image in white, but it also comes in navy and in black! I love that it’s made out of a triple fleece material that is super comfortable, but the fabric is thick enough to hold shape. The capelet top is short sleeve but the drape hides the tops of my arms, which I sometimes feel self conscious about. The ankle cut of the pant is also perfect for wearing with sandals.
The Carmel travel set is a henley popover top with sweatpants. It’s also the perfect shade of navy.It also comes in a great tan color. I absolutely love the Patrick henley top, which I wear just as often with white jeans or chinos as I do the matching sweatpants. It’s so flattering and it makes me feel fancy even when I’m running errands. I have my own Patrick in black, but it comes in white and tan also.
And of course, you might as well have a couple favorite Frank and Eileen classics for when you get to wherever you’re going to. This summer, I’ve been wearing my Rory maxi dress non-stop. The lived-in linen is the most beautiful color, almost like indigo denim. The dotted black pattern is a good way to mix it up from your standard neutral and give the dress a little more dimension.
