There’s not a lot of gym clothes that actually make you feel good. That’s why I love Varley’s clothes so much: because they actually look stylish! I wear these pieces working out, but that’s not the only places I wear them. They look just as good at brunch or on a coffee run as they do when you’re working up a sweat. After all, if the hardest part of going to work out is getting dressed, cute clothes make it a lot easier.
An easy way to elevate your athleisure is to keep it monochromatic. The right neutrals can make your coffee run feel like the Row all of a sudden. Chocolate brown is one of the go-to colors this season, and Varley’s pieces will slot right into your wardrobe. I love this half-zip fleece and this quilted jacket for layering, and throw on some leggings! Their leggings are some of my favorite in every color – brown, tan, and of course black.
A fresh new set of sweats is high on my list for fall, and there are plenty of great options at Varley. The Relaxed Pant feels like a high fashion version of 80s high school sweats, with the perfect amount of nostalgia and attention to detail. The pants come in black or a light gray, so you have options. Top it off with the luxe Cecile knit to take your sweatpants to the next level.
When it gets cold, my biggest style trick is to make sure that my coat is cute. That way – it doesn’t matter what’s underneath! I love Varley’s Kimber plush coat is a super current take on a parka. I love the exaggerated collar and the extra-long length.
It might feel a little late for slides, but these suede slides are the pair I throw on for Pilates the most these days. Bad hair day? Hide it under this cute hat.
